Treating Injuries Caused by Bike Accidents

Bike Injuries

Whether you have been hit by a car, fallen off your bike, have inappropriate riding techniques, or an improper bike fitting – New Heights Physical Therapy can help.

Do you have pain from riding a bike?

Common Symptoms from Poor Bike Ergonomics:

  • Knee Pain
  • Back Pain
  • Shoulder Pain
  • Neck Pain
  • Wrist Pain
  • Elbow Pain
  • Hip Pain
  • Ankle Pain

Whether you are a sport cyclist or rely on your bike for commuting, our goal is to get you back on your bike.  We want you to become stronger than before your accident.

When can you be seen after an accident?

You can usually be seen within the first week of your bike injury (as per doctor’s recommendation).  During these early stages, physical therapy will help to decrease swelling and enhance the tissue repair process.  Our techniques vary depending on the nature of the injury, from gentle treatment after trauma to treatment of minor injuries.

Our front desk staff is knowledgeable and able to answer any insurance questions you may have so you can make your first appointment and begin your recovery process.
