About Structural Integration

Structural integration approaches  posture and mobility issues from a holistic perspective. This approach lengthens and  differentiates tissues that have  become shortened or adhered in order to balance the whole structure.

Specialized work with scars and fascial restrictions of nerves and arteries helps to liberate movement and restore postural balance.

SI reintegrates injured areas and restores wholeness and balance.  A short series (3-6 sessions) is useful for simple problems and targeted work that will ease strain patterns, improve coordination and free up movement.

The longer series (12 sessions) is ideal for addressing  complex patterns that have taken years to develop. This longer series typically takes 3-6 months to complete, allowing enough time for the client’s structure to make a more significant shift, returning them gradually to a state of improved mobility, freedom, and smooth coordination.

Both series will improve resilience, reducing the chance of re-injury.
