Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist
Certified in Blood Flow Restriction Training
Jenna moved from Seattle to Portland to obtain a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Pacific University. Pacific’s strong orthopedic program inspired her to go through a residency program with the Ola Grimsby Institute (OGI) to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). Jenna has worked in a variety of settings serving several different patient populations, including acute care hospitals, a rehabilitation center for neurological injuries, a certified comprehensive stroke center, health and wellness clubs, and specialized manual therapy outpatient orthopedic clinics.
Upon meeting Jenna, you will discover she is first and foremost an advocate for her patients. She provides each person with the time and resources necessary to improve their condition and prevent future injuries, and always encourages her patients to take an active role in their health care. These values align perfectly with New Heights’s patient care model, allowing Jenna to give each patient one hour of undivided attention to help further their progress and get them back to what they love. Jenna has received extensive training in Scientific Therapeutic Exercise Progressions (STEP), allowing her patients to participate in a movement program specifically designed for their body to promote healing and recovery.
While not in the clinic, Jenna enjoys getting outdoors for challenging hikes, exploring the Oregon coast and wine country, staying in for competitive game nights, reading a great book, and savoring a cup of coffee.
