“Donna has changed my life! I was skeptical at first because conventional physical therapy was not helping and I had reached a plateau in my recovery process. Upon the first visit I felt safe, welcome, and my body concerns were immediately validated. Donna’s knowledge about how the body responds to car accidents is state-of-the-art. I was guided through several unique and tailored exercises that helped me get my life back on track just when I thought it would not be possible. I regularly recommend her services to my friends and family and would not hesitate to recommend them to you as well.”Anna M.
“I am an elite soccer player and for the past two years I have been working with the New Heights staff and specifically, Donna Gramont. I have seen Donna for short term back pain, long term knee problems, and a neck injury sustained from two concussions. No matter what struggles I was facing in my life, whether it was stress from school, or one of the injuries Donna was treating, I always looked forward to my appointments at New Heights because the entire staff brightened my day. Whether it was chatting with Liz during exercises in the gym, joking around with Brooke, or talking soccer with Dave, New Heights was filled with friendly faces. Donna helped me through of the hardest times of my life by not only being a fantastic Physical Therapist, but by being a friend who I could share anything with. She not only healed my neck, and prevented a serious knee injury, she has helped me live a healthier life. I am on my way to play Division 1 college soccer at Seattle University and I want to say thank you to New Heights Physical Therapy and Donna Gramont for being a part of my team.”Jesse Ray
“My chief complaint, as I recall, was related to my back. When I moved to Portland in 2008 I knew no one. Finding a good PT was important to me. I read every page of every website of the PTs in town. New Heights wasn’t the closest to my house but sounded like the one with the most depth to their practice. So I thought I’ll try them first. My goal was to relieve pain and correct whatever the problem was. I have seen Donna almost exclusively. She is always attentive and thinking about the ‘problem’ which has differed over time. So now she knows me and my body and uses her professional creativity to keep me in good functioning shape. Important because I’m 75. I am certain that my husband Sheldon and I would not be functioning at the level we are without Donna’s guidance and thoughtful hard work. She’s emphasized certain areas that are important as we age: balance, flexibility, active lifestyle, and precautions for falling and slipping. I’ve leaned not to let a problem slip but attend to it right away. Donna has taught me ways to handle certain problems myself. Another area that differentiates New Heights is the quality of the physical therapy assistants, PTAs and the care with which they tailor exercises to accomplish the goals of the PT. They are all thoughtful, creative professionals. I don’t take that for granted because they are leagues above other PTAs that I have worked with.”Katie R.
